Summer Sandals! Every year one of my favorite things to do is to buy this season's summer sandal. Naturally some trends flow through year after year, but see below for some of this season top trends.
The Basic Tan Slides - What is not to love about the classic tan slides? These linked are so comfortable and can be worn with anything. They have taken me through two vacations. One hiking down rocks to a beach in Greece and the other throughout Asia! These mold so well around your feet. Tan slides are amazing because they are a great summer color when you want an alternative to black, and are comfortable because they don't hurt the back of your feet (ankle and heel).
Strappy Sandals - Whether in fun colorful colors, pastels or neutral, that strappy feminine look is the perfect dreamy combination. I personally love wearing them with biker shorts, mini skirts, rompers, etc... they are perfect and can be worn day to night.
Block/Slip-On Sandals - the block heel is great for an environment where strappy and pencil heels may not be the best idea, particularly outdoor barbecues etc.. They will give you more traction and balance walking but also are a casual alternative for a high strappy heel.
Sporty/Platform Sandals - The platform, sporty sandal vibe has been all over. Not only are these trendy, but super comfortable and great summer alternative to sneakers. Pair these with a dress, straight leg jeans, or throw these on when running errands in your athletic wear!
Clear Studded Gladiators - The whole embellished, clear style gladiators are the perfect neutral sandals with some character to really elevate an outfit. These are a great Valentino dupe, but for over a fraction of the price. Wear these with denim shorts, dresses, skirts, you name it! This a great capsule sandal.
Thong Sandals - Thong Sandals are actually making a huge comeback. These were originally heavily popular during the 90s and its looks they have been resurged and here to stay. They may be noted at times to be glorified flip-flops, but pair a thong sandals with a cute block or pencil heel, it immediately becomes next level!
