Trending: What's been in my shopping cart - pre fall edition

Hi Babes! Nicole here - life has been just a tad crazy lately and I've been between CA and NC and traveling everywhere in between...basically living out of a suitcase. We've had some Prept Party events and I've personally had a couple weddings and trips planned, so, I thought why not share what I've been buying and loving. At Prept we always try to vet things so you don't have to :)

Let's start from the bottom

The Mother Denim white jeans (pictured below) I bought this year are distressed at the bottom, so stretchy and comfortable, high rise, and I'm obsessed. I've been in love with Mother Denim since I bought my first pair of Mother Denim leather pants leather pants from them last year! The quality is amazing. Highly recommend checking them out. P.S. YES YOU CAN WEAR WHITE AFTER LABOR DAY. Winter white and even an all white monochromatic look with white jeans and a cream sweater is so CHIC! This style has a ton of other washes if you are not feeling white...because I know its not for everyone and hard to keep clean.

On to my tried and true Loeffler Randall shoes...every time I step out in these I get questions on where there from and people wanting a pair! They are that GOOD. I have had for about 5 years now and they are just as sparkly, comfortable, and fun as day 1. They are a bit on the pricy side but 10000% worth it for the quality.

& don't get me started on the Pistola Lennon's they are So good. Everyone I share with has tried and loved!

Self-care things

Okay I have also recently splurged on some Revolve Beauty items...but of course when they had a sale going on! I have been having bad acne, blaming the stress of startup life so here's what I bought to help with that/beyond

- Kosas tinted lip: color Rush - good for you, so smooth, creamy, easy to grab and go

-LED Light for acne - bright but actually pretty relaxing to do, only takes 3 mins on each spot you need it

-Zit stickers - work amazing great to have ahead of events

Vacay pieces

Fun gold top that I paired with white denim and nude heels when going out

Good American sparkly swim suit top & bottom - actually very stretchy and fit amazing! Huge fan and got so many compliments on this when I wore even though I felt it was a little bit too much I am trying to play with more fun pieces and color so I went for it.

For Love and Lemons set part 1, part 2 - such a unique set, knit material, colorful and fun. I wear so many staple pieces over and over that I love to try to incorporate fun things once and a while and a vacation is the perfect excuse. Sets are also amazing as you can mix and match them like I did below with the skirt and a white bodysuit.

Wedding guest options

Last but not least, the always relevant roundup of wedding guest looks.

For rehearsal dinners I usually opt for a solid mini or midi look so here were some that I tried

Purple midi one shoulder (best seller) very pretty colors and very flattering on most body types per the hemlines

Pink one shoulder - also comes in white perfect for brides

Blue one shoulder - recommended for my sister and of course this JW PEI go to bag that is perfect for weddings and looks amazing with it!

For the actually wedding portion when in doubt and if its more than cocktail (semi formal or formal) my go to is Michael Costello. I love his gowns, they are amazing quality and timeless. I also love Amanda Uprichard, Katie May, Norma Kamali options. For slightly less gown options ASTR, Free People, are great bets.

This Michael Costello was one of my favorites, note that it does have 2 slits that you need to be aware of :) but the back is so gorgeous and the lace detail in the front...obsessed

The ASTR Primrose dress - such a pretty back, ruffle sleeves, 3 color options, recommend a size up I tried XS very tight S fit better
