Spring dresses for every occasion

Spring gives us all the reasons to dress up from holidays Mothers Day, to weddings, to trips, and just a day/night out. Most of us emerge from winter ready to brighten up our wardrobe and lighten up on the layers. But what dress style, length, material do you go for? There can be a lot to consider...so we're here to share some tips!

Choosing dresses that compliment your figure

Choosing dresses that flatter your body type can help you feel confident and comfortable. Here are some tips to help you find the right dress for your body type:

  1. Hourglass body shape: If you have an hourglass figure, look for dresses that accentuate your waistline. A fitted dress with a belt or a wrap dress can be very flattering.

  2. Apple body shape: If you have an apple-shaped body, look for dresses that draw attention away from your midsection and accentuate your legs. A-line dresses, empire waist dresses, and shift dresses can be very flattering.

  3. Pear body shape: If you have a pear-shaped body, look for dresses that balance out your hips and accentuate your upper body. A-line dresses, fit-and-flare dresses, and dresses with embellishments on the upper half can be very flattering.

  4. Rectangle body shape: If you have a rectangle-shaped body, look for dresses that create the illusion of curves. Dresses with ruffles, pleats, or peplums can be very flattering. You can also try a belted dress or a wrap dress to create the illusion of a waistline.

  5. Inverted triangle body shape: If you have an inverted triangle-shaped body, look for dresses that balance out your broad shoulders and accentuate your lower body. A-line dresses, fit-and-flare dresses, and dresses with a fuller skirt can be very flattering.
